He used to raise beef and then switched to yaks. Say's yak is SOOOO much better tasting. They live in Raymond , MN about 450 miles away. Will pick up the girls on Oct 1 in the morning so we can have them back and unloaded in the daylight. Which means leaving around midnight on that Friday.

thats not too bad. 500 miles to where I was in MI. and it was a 6 hr. ride driving slow and making stops. Nephew made it in 4 hrs. on his bike.

If a chicken raises a keet, will it end up acting more like a chicken? ... join the flock?
I hope so!
But if your other keets are around, being their crazy keety selves, maybe it will hear the call of the wild and join them. Nature over nurture?
With only two they're not nearly as wild. They also don't harass the chickens as much.
Just wish I wasn't so exhausted, irritated and restless all the time.
Exhausted and restless is the worst combo. :hugs for you.
