Loved little grocery store in VA. They always had kale, turnipgreens & butternut squash that were cheap.

I didnt check Krogers. I have to go to seymour tomorrow. thats a big town. maybe they will have something.

We re eating canned veggies this month. Walmart had them rolled back to $.50/can. Dh gonna have to get over not wanting to eat canned food. What i cooked today wasn t canned.

Do you ever shop at Costco? Huge bags of produce for the same price as a small bag at Costco. If it goes bad the chickens get it.
