Good morning, I was checking out the picture of granny and there are som many similarities in our features. She must have some Mcfarland in her. Lol looked just like one of my relatives. Beautiful lady you are, Pam.

She blew dried it combing under didn't she. That style is for an older lady. I would straighten it for a sharp angles look or do like the picture you posted. It's very cute. I'm thinking it might be time to go short again. My hair decided to grow long out of the blue!! Lol

Try blow drying upside down. Slight teasing to give it the height then go back with your straightener for the bangs and to add the curl shapes around.

I need to wash it and start over. BUT it was washed twice yesterday, so I'm trying to hold out a few days. I don't wash my hair very often...

I think you'd be okay with just small scrunching slight teasing and straighten for structure. You don't have to wash it again.
