[GRAPHIC pic] What Killed My Duck?

I'd say a bird of prey to. Seems to me if it was a coon or possum that the duck would be torn a part. I once had something taking 2 hens at a time. It would decapitate the birds..all i would find was heads. Set a trap....i caught a humongous possum! I lost 20 birds b4 i caught that sucker!

If you can then, setup a live-trap baited with peanut butter, catfood, or sardines and place where you think the duck was attacked. I am betting morning you will have a raccoon in trap by dawn.

How did you enlarge it?
I haven't been able to figure out how to enlarge/zoom a picture on here yet?
I thought of this late last night, I have used it and it works really well. Any time I want to see a bigger picture from a screen or want fine detail, I use my digital camera, take a picture, enlarge it as much as you want and move around to see all. I have a sony camera that will allow me to save any edited picture and the original, its older maybe all will do this now. try it, no cast or wait for developing.

I am dealing with a raccoon now planning to catch it between 12:00 PM and 3:00 AM. These are critters I have dealt with many times, hawks and owls as well. They are pretty easy to deal with once you know who you are dealing with.

I have watched many coons and opossums, they have what I call rounds they make every night to homes, trash bins, dog and cat feeder, so on. They will make a distinct trail they use it so much. It's nice to watch them in the late night, some a bit more cautious to enter, others go right in the traps. Their stomach always gets the best of them. A trap smart animal, not so simple, It brings a lot more challenge to you and forces you to think, outside the box, yes, pun intended. Trap smart cats are a real fun challenge.
