GRAPHIC PICS of my day learning to caponize

Pics
Your welcome. Are you wanting to learn to caponize? There are several contributors to this thread that have acquired good skills and are having quite a bit of success.

yes! we are looking into the tools that have been linked, wanting to get a good set and then practice on our processed birds like many people have mentioned. We don't have room at the moment to keep them but we certainly see the benefit in flock management. our birds are dual purpose - our goal from the beginning, and this looks like the next logical step for us.

The Chinese tool set ROCKS by far the best out there!

Share your success and your learning experiences w/ us, that is how we all learn since many of us are doing this on our own.

As you go forward any questions don't feel shy about asking, several have quite a bit of experience and some of us should have an answer.

So, I finally got back to these posts which reminded me that I ordered the tool set from the Mister Tao website - and I never received them.

So FYI to all:
My credit card initially declined the order because it was unusual overseas activity. After a phone call to CC, it went through.
I received an order confirmation e-mail on July 1st from Mister Tao.
Then, nothing. I expected it to take some time and frankly I forgot about it.

Upon looking into the whereabouts of this order, I logged into the Mister Tao site & my account. In my account was a message for making a second payment (I guess for overseas shipping?).
I did not receive an e-mail notification about this message (dated 7/18/2013). It stated that I had 48 hours to make a second payment or the order would be canceled and no refund would be made. So, guess I'm out $36.

I am finding these instructions on their site now, but I completely missed them when I place the order.

I had customized some Gelpi retractors this past spring, which worked reasonably well, though they tended to turn sideways and allow the incision to close. So, I was looking forward to trying this set, as it is well recommended.

Just a little too irritated to place the order again right now.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Have you contacted customer service at Mister Tao? You may be able to complete you order if you correspond with customer service. If you would like information about an independent agent, send me a PM. Also, if you don't want to risk it, but you want the tools, I can place an order that includes what you're shopping for using my independent agent. I would bear the risk, and you could pay me when the items arrive.
