What should I do next?

Just wondered if cutting her open could help confirm what caused her death in particular. I also simply find it interesting, and good practice for butchering quail, which is something I am planning to do soon.
Great! I don't think anyone can tell why she died.

Does anyone have any links on how to tell what is normal and what isn't when looking at the inside of a quail? (I haven't opened her up yet.)
Anything ripped, with holes, bruised/purple, swollen compared to surrounding attached tissue. That's all I can suggest. Also check gut and digestive tract for blockages or parasite overload?
