Grass for geese questions

Yes the donkeys that are not too aged or have difficult health issues (which make them a bigger job) are adoptable. The not adoptable will spend their days in care and comfort here. The geese are rescued. The male had been shot with an arrow that went through his leg. He has been rehabilitated and now lives here with his mate who had to be rescued from certain dinner invitation to be the main course. The happy couple was allowed to hatch 3 goslings thisspring. Sorry about the typing....fat finger on tablet poultrypals

I didn't know you did geese rescue also, I guess I missed that post. That is so nice Do you also put the geese up for adoption or do they just live out their lives there? This is something I'd love to be able to do. Too old not enough land and a grumpy dh that would probably leave me

The lady who takes in the critterswas working at a wildlife rehab and since chinese geese are not wildlife she decided to take them in. She has given homes to chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese because she enjoys them and finds them quite beautiful as do I. We do not have somany that we need to adopt them out. It is very gratifying to care for these guys. I am happy to do it...they don't complain or take us for granted, not in our language anyway.. got to scoop the donkey poop now. We do it 2x a day helps with flies. Still hot .....
