Great deal on female chicks

Oh, crap--so does anybody else have this chicken-addiction problem?

You see a good deal (chickens, eggs, etc.)--you click on the link because it's so convenient, you click to pay, and then you've got more fuzzy butts (or eggs) coming. And then you point it out to others so they can get suckered in too.

The problem is that MPC is a drop shipper, meaning they don't have their own hatchery, they use many different breeders and probably change them out from yr to yr. So, it's ultimately hard to determine what you'll end up with. Hope I didn't confuse ya.

I talked to DH and he said, "Go ahead and get them." Oh I was sooooo excited! My fuzzy butts ship Sept. 28th and I am super thrilled. I have always wanted this breed! The idea of the colored eggs is very exciting to me!!!!

I have never ordered from My Pet Chicken before and I hope it works out good.

That is funny DiVon80! I was on the verge of ordering even before DH said yes! We always talk about everything so I just had to tell him. Gosh, I have a empty coop and everything! I live in Florida too so it is gonna be awhile before our winter sets in. There was like no reason for him to say no. Most of the time I wanta buy stuff that I need him to fix or do something with. I don't need anything except for the fuzzy butts! I am sooo excited!

My 25 EEs will be here Wednesday or Thursday...I will post photos when the little buggers get here...setting up thier living accomodations later today...I know it is silly but I get as excited as a kid the day before Christmas when I have chicks coming...

WOW. If only I could convince DH that we needed 25 pullets, because I would sure rather have them in the fall so they can stay outside. By the time it gets really cold here in AR they'll be a good 2 months old.
