Great deal on Hardware Cloth wire!

Hey fellow chickers,

Found an amazing deal on hardware cloth wire. 6' tall x 100' long roll, 19ga and 1"x1". Price is $115.00 which is a steal in my opinion.

No relation or connection to this company, but I just ordered a roll and they also offer free shipping!!

I am not sure why my virus checker doesn't like that link, but I was able to go to the site's HWC page directly. That sure is a deal you got as we bought some on Amazon 6' x 100' and paid $209 back in December.

I think they're sold out as there isn't any 19 gauge there at all. It's all 23 gauge, so more expensive. If you see they get the 19 in again, hopefully it'll be for that price!

1x1? Yikes, I would worry about a determined young bird getting its head caught in there.

That's why the young girls don't have access till they are bigger. The 1x1 does concern me about snakes and rodents. But no snakes in the area and if it does become a problem I can run a skirt around with smaller holes. Have a bunch of barn cats and they keep the snakes and rodents down to a minimum. Since this is for the run portion only, I think I will be in great shape, but thanks for the feedback - it is always appreciated.
