Sam crept up to Lexi, jaws dripping chimera blood, eyes burning. As he drew flush with her, instead of attacking he sat down and placed his massive head against her chest.

Faith ran after Sam and Lexi calling their names. She finally caught up with them, out of breath.
Lexi immediately connected to his mind. She recoiled slightly at how wild it was now. she sent him feelings of love and a mental picture and feeling of what it was like to kiss in the moonlight. we're friends, remember? she said soothingly.
(Aawww....) Lexi smiled and rubbed behind his ears, ignoring the chimera blood staining her shirt.

Faith plopped herself next to Lexi. "Hey guys," she said, "Big fight there, huh? I bet Chiron will be coming any minute now..." she said, tossing her now bleach blonde hair out of her face.
he looked up at Lexi, a puppy expression on his face. His mind flooded with shame, and he whimpered.

"Hey Sam!" said Faith, all fear leaving her. She scratched behind his ears and rubbed his nose too.
He wagged his tail, making a big breeze and blowing things out of the way.
Maya laughed, "Looks like there's hope for one of us!"
