She ducked just in time, barely. She picked it up with her lips and put it on the ledge of the stall, in case she needed to use it sometime.

You do know if you use an animal tranquilizer on a person, they'll go insane.

Did the keeper have a blow gun? You can't just throw a dart... Doesn't work... Plus, it would have been nearly impossible fer the horse to pick it up like so and save it fer later.

Well, it would work if they were like throwing darts for a dart board, but those are entirely different.
