i am a country gal at heart, but is stuck in a town

what is funny (odd humor here!) is that our most chicken attacks were in the town, while we only had one in the country)

Around the corner comes the sound of a blaring horn and skidding wheels. The ambulance trundled down the drive, skidding in the dirt as it came to a swift stop. The police car did a James Bond 360, having missed the driveway, and promptly sidled up alongside the ambulance. There was a crash of metal from the opposite street corner. The fire truck never quite made it to the farm.
