Cay put her phone back in her jeans pocket. Am I the only one who does any work around here? She thought as she started measuring dinner rations for the horses. She was starting earlier so she'd have time for dinner herself.

No chase? No darts? Hmm, she thought as she prepared to leap the fence, which was coming up. She skidded to a stop when she realized that it was too high for her to jump and let out a stream of colorful words, wheeling around and running in a different direction.
