Cay trotted back, praising Oriel for the great attitude she'd been showing since she'd thrown Piper into a shark feeding frenzy. (
) The thought of knowing that Piper was no longer alive was strange to her. She'd always thought Piper was a nice person.
She soon made it back to the stable. She dismounted and untacked Oriel, brushed her down, and washed her out in the wash stall. She fed all of the horses their grain and a flake of hay each before jogging back to her house to change into her breeches and paddock boots, buckling her chaps. She then changed Oriel into an English all-purpose saddle to practice her dressage. They went to the arena, Oriel running her smooth Paso Corto gait.
