Green Jay Chatter

That is the only times we're ever that dry and what we really need is a wet rainy front 🙄. We'll be under a fire weather warning for 24 hrs with this one. Then the humidity will quickly bounce back to more normal levels LoL.
I think we have one night of mid 40s then back to 50s and 60s at night.
I bet! I'm glad we got the rain we did recently. We were finally able to burn some trees we'd cut. They were just hanging out on the ground, all up in the way, lol.

Yeah, it was kinda like chewing fried rubber... 🤣
I have tried most seafood at one time or another (pro tip - never cut a fried oyster in half and then look at it, bleah 🤢 ). Just don't like seafood.

The closest I get to eating seafood is a tuna fish sandwich, with a ton of mayo to cover the fish taste. 😉
It is definitely like chewing rubber! Except the taste is pretty good to me. Especially with that special creamy sauce! I HATE tuna sandwiches, they are so messy and yucky 😭 :sick

Bold jumping spider. Her "home" was our patio table, I gave her a leftover mealworm one day.

Happy Wednesday! All good here. It rained on me during morning chicken duties, but I'm dry again. Lol. And the sun came out about 20 minutes after I got inside. Go figure. How are y'all?

Spiders are by far my least favorite of the "bug world"! But I've gotta say, these are some great pictures. And look at her take on that mealworm!

This is a recently shed grasshopper. It's a cool picture, but they absolutely destroyed a bunch of my plants this year.

LoL, wait a minute and the weather will change! 😁

Wind blew like crazy last night (LoL still is blowing like crazy actually!) and power went out not long after midnight, no surprise there! Power is back on, sun is shining brightly, and I'm watching my girls feathers blowing backwards in the wind. 😉

That is a very cool picture! Yeah, they can really wreck the plants. 😠

We've got that wind today. It's brisk! Do you lose power a lot? It is insane how often ours goes out. Internet too.

It's still a little cloudy, but the sun wants to come out. I just took pumpkin from last night's carvings down to my flock. It's their first time having it, and they love it!

Unfortunately. There's some lines and a transformer down the road aways that probably date back to when they first installed electricity... 🤣
We never know what will make it fail but high winds usually knock it out. Grin and bear it as part of rural living. Worse part, we're on well water and guess what doesn't work without power? 🤔
