It's one of my favorite book series ever. It's wholesome. It covers all the emotions, and has really good development of characters through their lives. Several of my chickens have names from the books.

My daughters like anime. Or at least some of it. One of my favorite things about this site is seeing how so many people name their chickens to reflect their own interests. It would be easy to just call them generic things, or nothing at all. But we put thought into it. We love them and see them as an extension of the family. I think I've only got 4 females out of the 14 chicks in my brooder right now. But they'll all get Anne of Green Gables names too, since they're cochins.

I don't have a problem with lizards, but the surprise of things is always startling.

One time when I worked on the ambulance, a tree frog jumped on my face. It was inside the cabinet where we kept our oxygen administration supplies! I have no clue how it got there, but I opened that cabinet and it jumped right out and stuck to my nose/eyes/forehead. It was so cold and sticky, and I screamed, lol. I actually love them, but that was such a shock.
