oh yea i would just leave too lol and nah i just chill then after we eat i get to take care of everything

LoL, I'm the one that takes over in the kitchen and tames the chaos... 😏 My mom and sister don't mind one bit! 🤣 And I usually bring half the dishes too LoL!

I do love to cook. I made a nice big dinner tonight. But when too many cooks are in the kitchen, as they say, I just shut down. 😂

Another pullet joined the layer club! Penny laid a cute little peewee size egg Sunday and a small yesterday 🎉. LoL about time!
I think Reaper might be next, she's getting very red and was checking the boxes yesterday :yesss: green eggs again!

Yay!! Your girls are coming along nicely! My girls are 18, 17, 14, and 12 weeks old this week. So I'm just waiting, not so patiently. :gig

LoL I was getting pretty impatient with all of them, I almost had to buy eggs 😱 before these new kids finally started laying. I had hoarded the last eggs from my older girls before they started moulting but was down to the last two for emergency baking.

That's cutting it close! I'm not sure I'll ever get to where I don't have to buy eggs. I cook breakfast without fail 5 days a week (school days). Friday is pancake day. But the other 4 days, I make 8 eggs every morning. I sometimes cook some on weekend mornings. Plus whatever I may use for other cooking. So we use about 40 a week, give or take a few depending on the week.
