That's a handsome fella!
We got whitetail deer harvesting all the acorns falling off the live oaks

I wish there were enough deer in the entire state to eat all the acorns falling from our oaks!

LoL they never get them all. And then the gazillion caps falling everywhere and nobody eats those

They are so messy! Our property isn't necessarily hilly, but it is sloped in some spots. And you've got to really be careful on those spots. The acorns are like a carpet there, and if you step on them just right, you might as well be trying to walk on ice when those suckers start rolling! You'll be on your backside real quick.

No kidding! We had a massive crop 4 years ago and were literally ankle deep in acorns! Sliding on them everywhere, you couldn't walk across the yard without acorns falling on your head, hard hat time! It was crazy!

68 degrees with 99% humidity here this morning. Balmy indeed!

Oh I love these! I've got a family member who has them planted in the yard. They are so easy to grow, with basically no care. They come back every year and bloom like crazy.

Very cool!! Great way to start the day! That was nice of her!

We have lots of it growing here, all around the koi pond, over here, over there.... it's a very enthusiastic plant here. (that's a nice way of saying it reseeds readily and everywhere to the point of being a nuisance LoL).

Butterflies and bees like it and it blooms constantly here until it frost or freeze.
