Good morning! Warm and muggy here today, supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow (mid 70s vs mid 80s 🤣). Butterflies are everywhere this morning!

HEB dominates our area for shopping with wally world coming in a distant second. Thanks to pickup shopping, I can avoid going inside either one 😁. Still gotta drive 20-25 miles tho!
We do have a small town HEB 10 miles away for quick trips or basic stuff.

It's 77 here right now, and so muggy and windy. But it's supposed to cool off after tomorrow and we'll have around 60 for the highs and low 30s for the lows for a few days.

LoL fly on over! We're doing simple and easy this year. Green bean casserole, either cornbread stuffing or mashed potatoes, he'll say both 🙄 maybe some broccoli, rolls, and a couple of Cornish hens for the bird. No I did not raise the birds, they came from HEB freezer. 🤣

Haven't decided on dessert 🤔

I love this!! We're actually going to be at a family member's house. But we'll end up with 2 turkeys, a ham, at least 4 giant sides but likely more, a fruit tray, veggie platter, and who knows how many desserts. And there will be 12 of us. 2 of which are my niece and nephew who won't eat anything because they're so picky. We'll have enough food to feed an army, and then my family will be stuck bringing it home because no one eats leftovers but us, lol. I wish it could just be simple!

LoL, it's a whole different game if my sister and her family come here instead of Mom flying to FL. Then I'm cooking three pies, at least one side, and grandmother's cornbread stuffing- can't get away with the stove top type then! 🤣 Then haul it all to town 45 miles away....
And who doesn't eat Thanksgiving leftovers?! 😱 😁

I don't know that they really any eat leftovers. I can't imagine!
