Hello,

My one hen pooped green today. I was wondering what this could be a sign of. Her eyes are alert and she responds to the normal call. She seems to be eating and drinking fine. Should I be worried?

Thank You,
Matthew

If she seems ok and it's the only poop you've seen like that then I wouldn't be too worried. It looks like she had a lot of leafy green vegetables or grass to eat, but it doesn't look too bad for a one-off poop.

If her behaviour starts to change, or if you find a lot more unusual looking poops then you should maybe start to look around for what could be causing it, but for the moment I wouldn't stress too much - all chickens produce weird poops from time to time!

She seems better now. I cant find any other poops from her. Her mood has changed and she seems to be going back to normal. Maybe just a day thing. As long as she will be fine that's all that matters.
