Green Queen/Meyer Hatchery

so maybe I’m wrong on my guess on this rare reed box pullet. She has greenish legs but it as of now totally white.

With the green legs, I think you're on the right track with a colored egger hybrid. Easter egger, lakeshore egger, green queen etc. Hard to tell since they're all mixes but my guess would be a pretty light colored EE. Pea comb?

Has anyone order this "Green Queen" from Meyer? It's their "new" mix breed for green tinted eggs, already sold out for this year. I'm sure too soon to know to ask about your thoughts on them? Any information would be appreciated. :hugs

My Green Queen is such a great bird! We got her from a nearby chicken store that breeds there own birds. When we first got her as a chick she was shy and scared of everything. Now she is outgoing, curious, and loves her muffs to be pet! She has a heavy amount of feathers and hates the heat, so far she is enjoying the fallish weather. She is very vocal. If you want a quiet breed i wouldn't sugest a Green Queen. Other than that they are a great breed!

Yes I do believe pea comb. She doesn’t have muffs is what has me thrown off although I do know not all EEs have that trait.

Yea, there's so much variety with EEs. With the green legs and pea comb, that's probably what Meyer considered her.

I think she's going to be stunning. Every light colored EE I've seen grown has been beautiful. Will be interesting to watch her feather out and see the egg color.
