Green thumb is itching, anyone else?

Kass, my shoulder and back are screaming from just looking at your photos. Man does it look great.loved that you planned it all out. Most people around here just throw the stuff in the ground .
I have to take photos of the kale and salad in my cold frame. It is great. I really need to have a second one built for next year.
That is one of my big summer projects this year is cold frames. I salvaged old windows from a house that was going to be torn down, I was going to build a green house, but I decided to bite off chunks I could actually do, so I down sized to making several cold frames out of them.

In one of the pics you can still see the mountain of chips I still have to go.

I just can't stand to look on this thread anymore.  We've got snow and rain and MUD!   It will be weeks before anything can go in the ground.
Cheer up baby, we' ll be digging in the dirt before you know.
You could be in my shoes(now I sound like my mother) my identity has been stolen .i apparently live in TN. It has been one extreme headache for the past week.
If I have to talk to another person that these large companies have outsourced there work too I'm going to scream.they are no help, they read off a script and and the time I can't understand. I'm sorry I'm ranting.
Sorry Rancher, those peas will be delicious when they start coming in.

My sugarsnaps are 5 inches tall already. They've been handling the mild frost at night just fine. Got brocolli, kale, brussels sprouts and spinach out too, they're about an inch tall. I sure hope I can get them big enough before summer strikes. After that.. they wont grow up anymore. Last year my brussels where 8 inches tall, because I planted them too late

Oh it's okay. Lord knows I've got plenty to deal with as it is. Spent the day running lines to keep this computer going but can't figure out what is wrong with the phones. Seems to me if the computer will work then the phones should but they don't. I'll be calling the phone company on Monday asap.

Those pics show a lot of the reason I wasn't able to participate in your crochet swap.

What pics are those? The mud or the snow? It's gotten cold her again, but the chickens have managed to dig through it to the mud.

I know why they came up with the term Mudhens.

Take care,

Folks.

still to wet here and will be for awhile. Though with raised beds I don't rototill.

I'd like to turn this area into a shallow pond or just a place for water to run too.

Hi Everybody,
My thumbs have been itchy for about two weeks now. Last year we had a week in the 80's in March and everything budded out. Then a hard frost hit in April and I lost all my pear and apple blossoms.

As much as I want to be out in my garden I can wait. I just have to be satified with trying to finish the pruning I didn't finish this fall.
The maples' sap has just started running so that will keep my green thumbs busy too.
