Green thumb is itching, anyone else?

Rancher, you have me stumped...it's driving me crazy.how tall is it,does it , are those berries hanging from stems ,or close to the branch? I'll figure it out.

Jostaberry cuttings and the unknown tree.

The tree has thorns and I think there may be more of them around the property. Berries are all gone. Birds might have eaten them.

Think I found it ......................... buckthorn, it is invasive and considered and noxious to wild habitat.

You may be right. I've been cutting them down and trying to clear them out. They are invasive that's for sure and painful to deal with. Thank you for helping me figure this out. I will have to cut them down and plant something else in their place to try to crowd them out.

Male and female plants may be why not all the trees have these berries.

weather has been nice, I might get the garden completely surrounded with the rustic fencing I've been working on. Mostly it's the cutting down of trees and digging hole for the gate posts that slows me down.

Anyone that has pots with flowers or herbs in there? A cheap way to keep from watering so much is to put a diaper in the bottom or take out the absorbent material and put in the bottom. Hold and absorbs the excess water or miracle grow with water and releases when plants need it. Now you do not have to water all the time. This is going to help me this summer when its 100 plus degrees.
