Hey ya-all. I was processing a bunch of Cornish Crosses the other day and one of the birds had a greenish tinge to the skin around the joint on one wing. It was most prominent at the joint and faded as it moved away. I also saw a very light greenish tinge on the same side on the lower leg. Can anyone tell me what this may be? Can I eat the bird or should I toss it in the Compost? The bird was in a cone and died very peacefully.

I was thinking that's what it may be, but I just wanted some other opinions. I haven't seen it before and I've processed a hundred or so birds.

What are your thoughts on lacerations on the skin but don't seem to have gone through into the meat? There doesn't seem to have been any infections.
