That is good to know. I am in Florida and have been wondering if I could successfully keep the colder breeds here with our heat and humidity. I guess this past summer would have been the true test lol. We beat heat records this summer here in Florida.

Even with AC in my coop I doubt that downy bird could last a summer in Phoenix.

Oh how very, very cool. I'm afraid I'm at the end of this list. I JUST got my Coronation Rooster. I have to wait for the price to go down before I can play. But you need a 2nd and 3rd wave of breeders to make chicken rescues a success.
