Hi guys! So I wrote an article with some information on navigating BYC. I was wondering if it might would be helpful for y’all to use in your greetings for new members, especially if they seem confused on how to use the website. It covers most of the basics and has a lot of resources and links. I’m also open to suggestions. If you want to, feel free to check it out and leave a rating/comment. Let me know if it’s helpful or not!

Amazing!
To be honest, I sometimes skip over emails, so it would be helpful if someone knowledgeable could write an article explaining it. Also, even if I'm not an English speaker, I like how it's concise and easy to understand!
Thanks!
Thank you! What exactly is it that you want to know about emails?

I don't know if I should write this here,
but there was something that confused me when I first joined last year.
I think if there had been hints or tips on how to get the information I wanted, I would have been able to get it more quickly.
Specifically, my chickens were showing a certain symptom, and when I searched for it, I found a lot of threads with similar questions, " so what should I do?"
I thought after much analysis, I realized that it's better to start a new thread and wait for someone to post something on this forum. I was very glad when I was introduced to an active and kind educator!
Do you have any better ideas?

I like it! I was already familiar with the software and its quirks, coming from an unrelated forum that used the same.

One suggestion: you’ve got <edit> links on your first page. I think it would be helpful to have a Table of Contents for your article, in the form of links (or not), as a means of drawing new members into your article. It would also be helpful for anyone revisiting to find a specific topic.

Better ideas for finding the information you need? No I think you should post your questions in threads or check out the articles to find what you are looking for.

Not really. I'd like to know some useful search tips or search terms that will return good results.
Tips: pecifically, breaking sentences like
"My hen has been sneezing since last night. When I looked at her this morning, her comb was pale and she had diarrhea." into individual words makes it easier to find the thread you're looking for.

That’s a good idea!
