Hi everyone!

Just wanted to tell ya'll where I hail from and maybe to give you a better idea where my chicken-children will be living! My husband and I have been here for almost one year (came from the North-West coast) and we love it way out here on the wide open prairie!! It's perfect growing and livestock raising land! We live on a large cattle ranch and couldn't be more remote. We like it that way!!! Any-who, anyone who would like to say 'hi', just drop a line and we'll chat!! Have a beautiful, magical day!!

Hi there! Had to laugh at your description - made me think of Ola (also in Idaho) - as an Idahoan born and raised (transplanted against my will, lol, but Council will always be "home") I think there are more than a few places out there that could be put in this category.

Yeah! I did hear that about 20 years ago, there was a school, a couple of stores and a post office!!! The house we are living in has quite a bit of the brick from the original school house and also has the main banister rail from the school, now that's leading to the upstairs of the house. We even found a picture/print of George Washington that hung in the tiny school library here in a closet under the stairs! That was a very cool find!
