Hello everyone! We just wanted to greet everyone and let you all know a little about ourselves. My husband ( Mike ) and I were born and raised in Campbell, Ohio. In 2005 we got married and moved out to Arizona. Since that time we have had a wonderful little boy who loves to do "stuff". We just recently moved to a house with 1.5 acres in rural Arizona and we love it. A friend of ours had some chickens from their mother and since my son loved helping with their chickens we decided to aquire some of our own. Our friends let us pick which ever ones out of their flock that we wanted and we picked the friendliest ones. So now we are a small family learning together how to raise chickens. Currently we have two hens and a rooster. I think that the white hen might be a leghorn but I do not know. I think that they are actually mutts, is that possible for chickens?
