Finally got around to getting a decent picture. They are still very scared of me, even though I've gently handled them plenty of times, so I don't know that's about. Here's the pic of them in the cage. We put them back them temporarily, as it's very humid and hot outside despite the nice breeze, and we were concerned the lack of good air flow. We found them all panting, so to help them out, we put them inside until we can fix up the coop.

Ruby is the most cowardly one of the bunch, and is the one hiding all the way in the back. I tell Frogger and Gem apart by their size (Gem is smaller, and also has a larger yellow patch on the left side of her beak). Cissany and Ruby almost almost alike, but if you were to compare the two, Ruby always looks like she's in a panic. Just makes you want to punt her over the field goal, lol. Coronnette is the largest of all of them, also in the background. I swear, she almost acts like a rooster, and recently they've been butting heads, so to speak, so I don't know if this is just them sorting out their order, or what.

A little bit of name history, in case anyone cares:

When it comes to naming things or pets, I take a somewhat ritualistic approach, if you can call it that. I try and think of a name that fits, so it takes me a long time to come up with something. Normally the first name that pops into my head works, and it's very very rarely that I change it. I can't force it, otherwise the name doesn't stick.

I thought up of Larkspur first. It was based on the image of the flower called Larkspur, whose image I found online and then found that that was its name. The flower that I saw was this amazing shade of sapphire (which I normally dislike). Since Lark was the only one of her feather type, it seemed to fit well.

Coronnette came second, and her name stems from me feminizing the word 'Corona,' which means crown in Russian. She eventually outgrew all the others in size, so it seemed to make a lot of sense for that name.

Frogger was third. She was the most outgoing one and always 1st when it came to getting out of the cage. Soon as you open the door, she's jumping onto the door ledge and to the top of the cage. Made me think of the game Frogger, where you had to cross the road and survive.

Ruby was 4th. I named her because when she was tiny, her fuzz was more reddish, so Ruby made a lot of sense.

Cissany was #5. I heard that name from someone on a radio show, and really like it. I have a penchant for never forgetting unique names.

Lastly, Gem was last. When I looked at Ruby, I wanted another stone based name, and since Gemma is one of my favorite names, I just shortened it to Gem. It is also a tribute to Gem from Tron:Legacy, the program that helped Sam Flynn.

It's a beautiful picture you took. My closeups tend to come out blurry (guess I'm not good at focusing the camera). You have a very nice flock. Good luck with your chickens.
