Thank you. I am reading through the 411 now. Even the thought of what we can get started with is exciting. I know I want coloured eggs; how fun. Off hand I am thinking marans, easter eggers, araucanas, leghorns, Jersey Giant. Now I need to see if they will thrive in SE Georgia.

My suggestion would to get whatever breeds you want. As long as they have a proper coop and space, any breed will be good. You will find a lot of good information here Good luck with your plans and have fun...
