Hello everyone! I’ve been reading threads and articles for awhile and finally decided to join the community.

I’m picking up my chicks next week. I am getting 2 EE, 2 black Australorps, and 1 Ameraucana. Hopefully I get lucky and end up with a hen Ameraucana rather than a rooster

I’m building a coop/run myself. Still in the works.

so far it’s been a fun journey and I’m looking forward to picking up my chicks!

I am getting them from a local hatchery. The first 4 are sexed with a 90% accuracy (allegedly) but the Ameraucana is unsexed
