Oops. Sorry for the dbl post. Thanks for the welcome. Looking at a flick if 8. 8-20 week old RIR, Barred Rock and Blk Aus. I am somewhat flexible. I had RIR as a kid.

I've had all three breeds over the years (along with dozens of others) and they are all good, hardy breeds that lay well. I especially love Black Australorps, which are my favorite standard breed. They are incredibly hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and the best layers of the standard, brown egg laying breeds. Good luck with your flock.
