Grey Call Ducks

for the cross it may look like a pied but not 100 % on that

Thank You Call Ducks i had been thinking of trying White x Grey and now thanks to you i'm going to try this cross next spring.

Thanks

According to Dave Holderreads book, when you cross a white with a grey you just get greys, however they do carry a white gene and if you take those ducklings and breed them you will get about 25% white and 75% grey.
This is just what the book says, I have not tried it.

So there is no mix of the colors breeding white x grey produces grey.

Hmmmmm Thats not what i want to do so i guess i will sell my remaining calls as a trio.
I was going to keep a white female and cross her with a grey male but if there is going to be no change in the color then i won't do it.
Thanks for the info
