My hen was suffering from a bacterial infection..for a week. She didn’t eat or drink. Kept the eyes Closed and moved very little. We are treating her with antibiotics for 5 days now.. and giving her water and ORS to keep her healthy. There is a lot of improvement in the infection. The hen is more active. But during infection a layer of pus was created in her eyes. We cleaned the pus. But now her right eye is grey and seems bigger than before. Her left eye is totally fine. She opens her eyes a little.
What should we do to sure the grey eye.?
One of my friend recommended to rub ice or wash her eye with cold water! Will it help?
Is there a medicine we can give her?
And what’s the reason for the Grey eye
whenever we give her water or medicine suddenly she behaves different like too lazy ... but after some time she gets normal.

The cloudiness may be temporary or permanent. I would apply ophthalmic antibiotic ointment to the eye.
