Hi guys

I was just wondering how I should be feeding my ducks grit e.g. free choice and also in what quantity. They do you have access to the ground/dirt in their enclosure but are not free range completely yet as I've had them less than a week. I have two khaki campbell layers and I bought an oyster shell grit

Thanks guys!

Sorry should have explained, there is oyster shell mixed with grit if that makes sense
Oyster shell is not grit it is used for calcium and will not replace grit. Your local feed store should sell grit

Both should be offered free choice

How old are they? Free choice means just that - a dish on the side with grit in it so they can choose it when they want or need it. If they are of laying age, the oyster shell should also be provided. Separately in a separate dish so those that need the extra calcium can choose to eat it or not.
