Gritsar needs more prayers, DH in serious condition!!!!

That sounds like a reasonable plan. Take some reading materials (or handwork) so that you aren't fretting while your DH is asleep.

Also, cleaning house can be cathartic. Don't feel weird for doing it. When it seems like my life is chaos, and there are things out of my control, I always get the urge to clean. There is something about having that one thing in order that helps me deal with the things that I can't control.

..and I won't tell you not to worry, how could you not..I don't think we have the ability to not worry..but I will tell you to take care of yourself and to rest..

Just a little update before I get moving and get on down to the hospital.
DSD sent me a text saying that the internist had been in this morning. They checked DH over pretty well, because he was coughing bad in the night, but the doc said everything okay; no new embolisms. They are going to repeat the doppler exam on his leg and get another CT scan of his lungs today. If everything's okay, they may lift the strict bedrest order. This is a good thing because I've been getting the bedpan complaints.

What can you tell someone that refuses to use a bedpan but isn't allowed out of bed?

Anyhow, I'll be gone all day today and check in with y'all in the morning.
Please keep those prayers and good wishes coming. They really do help.
Blessings!

I found that the male nurse waited for the water to warm up when he cleaned me up when I was in the hospital last spring, while the female nurses just used cold. It's not every day that many people got to see my darrier.

You could always put a cheerio in it like mom's with little boys do and tell him to hit the target.

Hope he gets to feeling better and can take himself to the private pot soon.
