Gritsar needs more prayers, DH in serious condition!!!!

Okay Ridge, you should get a kick out of this. When I got home I found a bowl of small brown things, about the size of dog kibble pieces, sitting on the counter. At first I thought it was dog food, then I thought maybe it was GS's (store brand of) cocoa puffs. I sniffed it, still couldn't tell which it was. So okay I'll admit it, I tried it and decided it was indeed cocoa puffs.
About that time #1 sends me a text. Says "sorry I left Rudi's (her chihuahua) food out, I know that sort of thing bothers you". .

I texted her back and said "Rudi's food? where?" She replied "I left his food out (she meant uncovered) in the frig."

I was never so happy to see uncovered food in my frig. before.

The dr. can increase the dose little by little with the coumadin. I was on it for 6 months plus plavix and an aspirin. The nurses told me not to have vitamin K foods (which is everything healthy) because that will make the coumadin not do it's job but then the dr. came in and said, "don't listen to them, eat healthy, and I'll adjust the dosing." Blood work 1x a week until we figured out the right dose and then every 2 weeks. If I stopped eating the big salads I was having...I bruised more and then would get tested again and adjust the dose. You'll be able to tell when his blood is too thin... he'll bruise like crazy with every little thing.

Hope you all get him home soon and are able to catch up on some needed rest.

big hugs,
gretch

Will do. I'm taking him some pics of the boys that I printed out to him tomorrow. That should cheer him up and he can drive the nurses crazy showing off his dogs.
I'm going to bed early and planning on getting up early to do a few things around the house. If they don't get done I'm at the point that I can just say oh well and not feel guilty.

Sandra, you stay safe. Just look at the mess my DH is in all from attempting to remove a drunk 14 year old from a ditch and breaking his leg in the process.
