Keith is in good spirits today. He's getting something like coumadin in his IV and shots in his belly *ouch* of another anti-coagulant. I still don't know the exact # of pulmonary embolisms. I wasn't there when the doctor made rounds this morning. However, Keith's breathing has improved, so I am hopeful that means the clots are resolving.
He had an echocardiogram this morning and his heart is in good shape. No further damage.
He's already worried about bills, work, me, everything. When you lay in a hospital bed long enough you find nothing to do but think.
I told him we're on a strict "one day at a time" policy from here on out.
We'll make it through this and be just fine.
