My airedale when outside is kept on a 40 foot cable tie due to crappy city codes (yard not fenced in). Well she has not been getting any bigger ( was obviously giving everything to the pups)so I thought that the rotten aussi ( yes I have to keep my dogs up but not the neighbors...they must now the lady from code enforcement) that lives across the road had not gotten her until I noticed her teats getting much bigger. I was almost fidgety when I read your post about the GS you are getting from a litter of 13. Well not to be outdone Misti had 14 babies. Airedales are notouriously bad moms, and I sent hubby into get some supplemental milk just in case however she is doing great so far, except when she licks to stimulte them she is getting them WET she is a slobberer. I will try to get pictures posted later the oldest is just about 24 hours old.
Funny thing is we adopted this dog after a family left her at training because she would not breed for them.
