What brush do you use when they are blowing their coats. Denvers fur is so thin right now barely any brushing is picking it up.

I have rhe safari undercoat and slicker brush, then a metal rake type brush. A double sided bristle brush, a rubber curry type brush. And a hand glove.

I use a zoom groom, occasionally lightly use a shedding blade, and I mostly use my hands, and my fingers to loosen hair. Nothing like a good rub down.

For double coated breeds I use an undercoat rake.

The rubber brush i have is like the zoom groom.
Maybe i need a different undercoat rake for Denver.

This is the brand I use, mine is 3/4, I see they come in 1/2 if your dog has a lighter coat. No matter the brand you always gotta be careful not to push so hard the skin gets scratched. This brand isn't as scratchy as the other one I used to use.

I don't blame you. I've done that before with my dog with black nails. If his quicks are long, though, they won't be able to get them down to where they need to be in one day, so you'll have to keep up with the nail trimming afterward.

Gave willow a good brushing with waterless shampoo, ears clean, brushed teeth, and paw balm
