Maggie was a fluffy golden and she was such a pain to take care of. I MUCH prefer Chase

Looks can be deceiving the most sheddy (is that a word?) dog I’ve ever known was an extremely short haired dog (its coat was like a pit) that boarded at the vet often. That dog could fill a pillow every time I brushed it. I wonder how similar Tucker and Chases coats are. It seems like they are pretty close.

For sure My aunts dog that passed earlier this year looked as if she would never shed well her fur was crazy.

Tucker gets brushed probably twice a month. Denver is a lot more. And in the summer i like to just take Tucker outside and do a bit of brushing but then just sit there petting him.
They seem close.
How much does Chase weigh and how tall is he?
I know Tucker is around 58lbs(i want him to gain a lb). And i think is 23 inches at the withers id have to double check.

What brush do you (chicky and pamps) use?

I have a safari slicker brush, another safari brush, a undercoat rake, a hand glove, a double sided pin brush with the black bristles on the other side, and then a rubber brush that a local groomer had recommended.

How much would you get if you brushed him every day? You’re making me jealous I thought Chase was so good about not shedding. Although you bathe him a lot more than I do Chase, I’m sure that makes a big difference. I get practically nothing off in the week after I bathe Chase.
