Which do you use? I use Nylabone tarter control. With regular use it can remove it pretty well.I brush teeth 2 times a week. But Denver still has plack so have to figure something else to do. Maybe a different toothpaste

My 10 year old dog was needing a dental before I started using it about 5 years ago. It slowly removed the tarter, and now she hasn't had a dental and no longer needs one. I did slip on my brushing after losing my little dog 2 years ago, and the tarter started to return. It's slowly going away now that I'm brushing 2x a week or more. I've been happy using it.Im using the Petradox it was the only one i could get locally. And ive had it for awhile.
Ill have to try that one or a different one because her tartar has built up on her teeth!

Dogs are forgivingI don’t want Brew to be traumatized and hate me if I do the sling thing![]()
He won't, especially if you take it slowly and make it fun. You can do a gradual introduction over a few days. Start on getting him used to just being in the sling, reward him, then let him go. Then start touching his feet while he's in the sling, reward, let him go. Then touch his feet with the clippers. Then trim his nails. Make sure to give lots of treats and maybe even smear some peanut butter on something for him to lick while you trim his nails.I don’t want Brew to be traumatized and hate me if I do the sling thing![]()
