He won't, especially if you take it slowly and make it fun. You can do a gradual introduction over a few days. Start on getting him used to just being in the sling, reward him, then let him go. Then start touching his feet while he's in the sling, reward, let him go. Then touch his feet with the clippers. Then trim his nails. Make sure to give lots of treats and maybe even smear some peanut butter on something for him to lick while you trim his nails.

Fam sent a video on FB of someone wrapping their forehead in Saran Wrap and slathering it in some sort of meat stew or dog wet food or PB or something????? I couldn’t tell what it was LOL I don’t think it was PB though but I have seen one with that. This one was messy AF LOL anyway, they then let the dog lick it off their face while they clipped their nails and the dog was perfectly calm I don’t think it would work on Brew though. He would realize the trick and run away lmao also that’s just disgusting and so messy lol and besides, a lick mat would work way better and be way less gross if I wanted to do that

Ive seen that its gross. Luckily Tucker is pretty good about it when his nails need to be cut, which is rarely.

I trimmed my dog’s tail tassel once. Before I trimmed it there were some long stringy hairs sticking out. Uglyyyy.
He wouldn’t let me style it much though; it’s a little wedge-shaped.
