For Tucker its just a bath once a month sometimes every other month. I use a no rinse shampoo sometimes. Then winter its no baths just the no rinse. I trim his fur maybe once a month along with a tiny nail trim. He barely ever needs them cut even his dew claws. It takes 2 or 3 towels to dry him.

Denvers bath takes me 2 ish hours first a quick brush, then a rinse, i shampoo her, let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes well slicker brushing a bit. rinse, shampoo again as its a shampoo and conditioner, but doing it twice she doesnt smell like wet dog. Then rinse, then comes the longest part drying it takes over a hour to fully dey her with 8 to 10 towels. She gets brushed every other day. Nails trimmed once a week. On regular just grooming days i can do it in as little as 30 minutes. The shaping and actual grooming is done at baths. I much prefer a wear and tear coat that doesnt need a ton of grooming.
I couldnt imagine grooming and bathing Newfies
But i am getting a blow dryer so her baths will be quicker. I have finally just decided to get one and upgrade it down the road if needed.

That’s good!!!!!!!

Just learned of this awesome (well, awesome looking. I’ve never been LOL) pet store and dog bathing place LOL the neighbor posted about it. It’s really close to us too. I think it’s a self serve dog wash. But they have really nice looking tubs, etc. and possibly driers? IDK. But I really want to take Brew there sometime just for kicks LOL but he would probably freak out over the other dogs so not really a good idea LOL especially when he fits fine in my shower LOL I think these types of things are more for people that don’t have a place to bathe them at home. There is another self serve place a little bit further away. And of course the full service places too. Which is probably more what he needs if anything. Especially for his nails. Although those have gotten better since we’ve been walking twice a day on the pavement LOL

I got a new toy and I don’t know how in the world I survived without it before now!! I love it!! Meet Duckie!!! It foams up my shampoo, dilutes it, and makes it last way longer. And it’s just fun😌
