-Dogs are Gods way of saying your not alone-
But i am getting a blow dryer so her baths will be quicker. I have finally just decided to get one and upgrade it down the road if needed. For Tucker its just a bath once a month sometimes every other month. I use a no rinse shampoo sometimes. Then winter its no baths just the no rinse. I trim his fur maybe once a month along with a tiny nail trim. He barely ever needs them cut even his dew claws. It takes 2 or 3 towels to dry him.
Denvers bath takes me 2 ish hours first a quick brush, then a rinse, i shampoo her, let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes well slicker brushing a bit. rinse, shampoo again as its a shampoo and conditioner, but doing it twice she doesnt smell like wet dog. Then rinse, then comes the longest part drying it takes over a hour to fully dey her with 8 to 10 towels. She gets brushed every other day. Nails trimmed once a week. On regular just grooming days i can do it in as little as 30 minutes. The shaping and actual grooming is done at baths. I much prefer a wear and tear coat that doesnt need a ton of grooming.
I couldnt imagine grooming and bathing Newfies
