How intensive is grooming a Golden or Leonberger? LOL

I LOVE both breeds but I have a feeling their grooming is quite intensive… especially bathing something as big and furry as a Leo :lau

But I could be WAY wrong LOL

Hey Dawg! Leo's are big and hairy but they don't have the very hard to manage coats that Newfoundlands have. I find Leo's easy to groom. I brush every single day, just for 10mins. This way my pups don't get fleas, don't need frequent bathing. I feed them salmon oil which you can tell by gorgeous coats. The Leo show world in my area has trained one professional groomer on how to groom Leo's correctly, so they go to her once/year. The only part of the Leo that should be trimmed is feet but I love the look of footie hair, they look like grinch feet :love

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Murphy got a bath last night since she decided to roll in the area a raccoon in a live trap sat for the night. I'm not sleeping with a raccoon scented dog. She's all clean now and good to go until the next attempt at a new smell.
LOL oh gosh!!!!!
Gave Denver a bath. she needed one. And it only took 25 minutes to blow dry her, Amazing! I gave her a few breaks because she was getting grumpy.
Awwwww

Gave Brew a bath a few days ago to wash the poison ivy oil off him LOL

But it doesn’t really do any good when he goes in the woods twice a day OR when I touch the PI myself LOL

But regardless, I bathed him. Kind of twice? Cause I used two different soaps/shampoos. First with dish soap to get the oils off (I’ve read regular soap doesn’t really work) and then next with the actual shampoo (Mane n Tail) so that he smells fresh and not like dish soap. Hahahaha

So yeah.
