If I didn't know bwtter I would say it looks like a tape worm. Omg... Never seen that or anything like it in my 34yr old life. Uuhhggg...

I was watching Dr.Pol,and there were a case where eggs were cracking in the hen.

See they have the system to make the eggs,it could be gut even.
I'll research tape worm,which is likely as well.

I have had egg sacks been layed and soon will see,if a egg burst.

Locate the thread "Weird Egg? Weird clump = lash" - almost identical egg situation. It does look eerily like a tapeworm except for the fact that segments are not visible, but I think that it is lash.

That's actually a good question. Generally it is a result of inflammation in the ovary or oviduct forming a caseous, pus like 'lump' that may take many forms. It may be indicative of hormonal changes (hen about to take a break from laying) or bacterial or viral infection of some sort - many theories. For more information do a computer search on 'lash chicken egg'.
