Done with the hatch & now its time to clean the bator.

You know...I had NO idea how funky hatching is....

Until this morning, and I only had TWO ducklings. Jeez! Lol.

If you ever saw a dirty incubator before you hatched, you were likely thinking "MINE will never look that dirty!"

Now you know.

It's simply amazing how many little pieces eggs can break into, and how the chicks can do "interior decorating" with them...

I was soooo thankful that when my kitty knocked mine down and all the eggs broke inside the bator, dh cleaned it up so I wouldn't be AS devastated. I can't even imagine what it must have looked like with 18 broken eggs half way thru incubation...*cry*

I'm still unsure if I'll ever try again. I did tell the kids at school we were going to do an incubation project in the spring, so I'll have to get over it.
