My chick is still on chick starter, and I have heard a lot of people say they feed their chickens grower feed as they get older... But I'm pretty new with this hole chicken thing and I was wondering if GROWER feed is just for chickens you're going to eat, or if it is for any chickens your raising in general... I'm raising her to show so I want her to have everything she needs and nothing she doesn't!

Few questions first.

What is the name of the current feed?
Is the current feed medicated?
If you hatched this chick, ow old is the chick (how long since hatch)?
If you got it from the store, how long ago did you get it and what the the advertised age?

If you get grower don't feed it until 6-8 weeks and feed the grower until the first egg has been layed.

Hope this helps!
