Growing fodder for chickens

And I try to upload photos on here....and it just sits there doing nothing. They are jpg's and lower res so they are smaller.....and still nothing. So, I cant upload pics either. Darn It anyway.

I was sick yesterday, and I forgot to tell my brother to water it except once last night. Will it be okay? It seems to be doing fine this morning.

I have "rootlings"!!

I fed my chickens the fodder yesterday and they loved it! They were begging for more! I have gotten some more trays that I've poked holes in the bottom and now I'm just waiting for my big bag of wheat to arrive. Can't wait to make more!

Okay here is the info and pics from SHRIVERFARMGIRL for those like me who can't see the Face page....

Quote: This is the plastic or vinyl gutter we got at Lowes for about $6 each (3 pcs cut in half) and the fittings were kinda pricey but the whole thing was under $80.00

Let me know if you have any questions. Or want more pics....of the fodder growing in stages."

I have to say that the wall idea is very cool.....I don't have space for it and if I did, my DH would never approve of it in the house. I don't have a heated outside place for one. My unheated garage is definitely not warm enough...especially on days like today when our high is forecast at 14 F and the low tonight will be negative something.
