My little partridge cochin bantams ( not part of any group were an emercengy buy when i had 1 egg make it to pip - ultimately never zipped ) anyway.. they were the only 2 left..
Anyway, we they started flying up and out had introduced themselves to the flock..they are 8-9 weeks old,they started finding a spot to fly up to roost not in big birds way at about 5-6 weeks.. up until a week ago they stayed within 10 feet of the back porch..this week they are adventuring 50-80 feet out and they found where all the birds dust bath
